In 1993 Mitsubishi revolutionized the hand drying experience with the introduction of the Jet Towel. Where traditional dryers blow one weak column of air, the Jet Towel uses two streams of 185 mph air to wipe water from both sides of the hand, drying them in 10 seconds. Touch-free operations ensure that hands stay clean and a 3" wide hand area easily accommodate all hand types. An optional heating element provides comfortable 95?F air while still using less electricity than any other hand dryer, allowing businesses to use minimal resources while providing the highest in user comfort and performance. An open sided design allows easy access for all ages and the recommended mounting height meets ADA recommendations.The Jet Towel has the lowest energy consumption requiring only 1060 watts on the highest setting, 75% of any comparable dryer. For extremely energy-conscious facilities, the Jet Towel can operate on as little as 450 watts. Measured at 64dB, the Jet Towel operates at the same volume as a normal conversation. A lower air speed enables operation as low as 61dB.Rated at 3600 hours - or 7 years at 400 uses per day - the motor in the Jet Towel lasts over 3 times longer that any other dryer on the market.
